How long does lice removal take?
Most treatments are completed in 60–90 minutes. The exact time depends on hair length and density, but every visit includes our full 4-step process — enzyme treatment, heated-air dehydration, strand-by-strand inspection, and finishing gel. Same-day appointments are available at both our Austin and Round Rock locations.
Is lice removal safe for kids?
Yes — completely. Our treatment uses 100% natural, pesticide-free enzymes and heated air. There are no harsh chemicals, no toxins, and no pesticide residue. Do you treat adults as well as children?
Yes — we treat patients of all ages, from toddlers through adults and seniors. Lice do not discriminate by age, and our enzyme-and-heated-air process is safe and equally effective for everyone. Many of our appointments include both children and the parents who sat with them.
Can you treat our whole family at one appointment?
Yes. Free head checks for all family members are included with every treatment visit. If multiple family members need treatment, they can typically be seen the same day. Same-day family appointments are available at both our Austin and Round Rock locations.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with dry, detangled hair and avoid heavy conditioners or styling products beforehand — that's really all you need to do. You do not need to bag your home or throw away belongings. Lice cannot survive off the human scalp for more than 24–48 hours, so bagging is unnecessary. Our technicians handle everything at the appointment.
